Featuring basketball, football, badminton and volleyball, the Games offer students a meaningful opportunity to put ISP\u2019s Life Competencies into practice \u2014 competing with purpose, leading with confidence, and connecting across cultures.<\/p>\n<p><b>More Than a Sporting Event<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Hosted by Tenby Schools<br \/>\nSetia Eco Park and delivered in partnership with TEEMS Global and ISP Malaysia,<br \/>\nthe Games have been designed to bring ISP\u2019s Five Learning Pillars to life<br \/>\nbeyond the classroom. Underpinned by ISP\u2019s Learning.First.\u2122 framework \u2014 a<br \/>\npersonalised, student-centred approach that develops both academic excellence<br \/>\nand essential life skills \u2014 the Games are a living example of what it means to<br \/>\nput learning first. Across every match, every team huddle and every shared<br \/>\nmeal, students will be putting metacognition into practice: reflecting on<br \/>\nwhat\u2019s working, adapting their approach, and growing in confidence with every<br \/>\nstep.<\/p>\n<p>The programme directly<br \/>\nbuilds ISP\u2019s Big 5 Life Competencies:<\/p>\n<p>&#8221; \/&gt;<\/p>\n<p>\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<br \/>\n<b>Interpersonal<br \/>\nskills:<\/b> students build<br \/>\npositive relationships, communicate effectively and work as part of a team to<br \/>\nachieve shared goals.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<br \/>\n<b>Self-leadership:<\/b> competing at an inter-school level<br \/>\ncalls on students to manage emotions, demonstrate resilience and motivate<br \/>\nthemselves and others under pressure.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<br \/>\n<b>Global<br \/>\nskills:<\/b> connecting with<br \/>\npeers from across SEA fosters intercultural understanding and the respectful<br \/>\ncuriosity that defines an ISP learner.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<br \/>\n<b>Cognitive<br \/>\nskills:<\/b> reading the game,<br \/>\nadapting tactics, and solving problems in real time sharpens critical thinking<br \/>\nand creativity.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<br \/>\n<b>Digital<br \/>\nskills:<\/b> students and staff<br \/>\nwill use digital tools to collaborate, document and share the story of the<br \/>\nGames across the ISP network.<\/p>\n<p><b>A Platform for International<br \/>\nOpportunities<\/b><\/p>\n<p>The inaugural Games sit<br \/>\nfirmly within ISP\u2019s International Opportunities learning pillar, which gives<br \/>\nstudents the chance to represent their school, engage with peers from other<br \/>\ncultures and grow as global citizens. Alongside the ISP Model United Nations,<br \/>\nISP Cultural Exchange and other flagship programmes, the Student Games are a<br \/>\nfurther expression of ISP\u2019s commitment to learning that extends well beyond the<br \/>\nclassroom.<\/p>\n<p>Students will participate in football badminton, basketball and<br \/>\nvolleyball in a programme that balances competitive sport with<br \/>\nsocial interaction, community-building, and the genuine joy of representing<br \/>\ntheir school.<\/p>\n<p><b><i>\u201cThe ISP SEA Student Games are far more<br \/>\nthan a sporting competition.
