<\/p>\nThe Malaysia Budget & Business Hotel Association (MyBHA\u00ae)<\/b> launched \u201cTourShield\u201d<\/b> as an industry
\ninitiative aimed at strengthening safety, security and protection throughout
\nthe hospitality and tourism journey during its Annual General Assembly held in Dusit Princess Hotel on the 27th July 2026.\u00a0<\/p>\n

TourShield<\/b>
\nwas officially launched by YBhg. Datuk Manoharan Periasamy, Chairman of Tourism
\nMalaysia<\/b>. In conjunction with the launch, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU)
\nwas signed between Dr Sri Ganesh Michiel<\/b>, National President of MyBHA\u00ae, and Mr
\nJayden Chuah Chee Keong<\/b>, Chief InsurTech Officer of VKA Wealth Planners Sdn
\nBhd<\/b>, one of the companies mandated by the Association to manage and facilitate
\nthe TourShield<\/b> initiative.<\/p>\n

The
\nevent also witnessed the signing of separate MoUs between VKA Wealth Planners
\nSdn Bhd<\/b> and Mr Hann-Ti<\/b> Tan, Executive Director of Fastlane Emergency Resources
\nGroup Sdn. Bhd<\/b>., as well as Dr Fabian Lim<\/b>, Chief Operating Officer of HEYDOC
\nHealth Sdn. Bhd. <\/b>These collaborations are aimed at further strengthening
\nTourShield through the provision of additional safety, security and protection
\nservices for the hospitality and tourism ecosystem.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Also
\npresent and witnessing the signing ceremonies were Mr Mohd Roslan bin Abdullah,
\nSenior Director of the Domestic and Events Division, Tourism Malaysia,
\nrepresenting the Director-General of Tourism Malaysia; and Mr Mohamad Bukhari
\nbin Che Man, Director of the Melaka Office of the Ministry of Tourism, Arts and
\nCulture Malaysia (MOTAC), representing the Secretary-General of MOTAC. Their
\npresence reflected the importance of strengthening collaboration between
\ngovernment agencies and industry stakeholders in advancing safety, security and
\nprotection initiatives within Malaysia\u2019s hospitality and tourism sector.<\/p>\n
\u201cTourShield
\ncarries a clear principle: \u2018Securing Hospitality. Safeguarding Journeys.\u2019<\/b>
\nAs we continue to grow the tourism sector, we must also strengthen the
\necosystem that protects our visitors and our industry. Tourism growth, safety,
\nresponsibility and sustainability must move forward together,\u201d said Dr Sri
\nGanesh.<\/p>\n
The
\nAssociation calls upon hotel industry operators to stay informed about the
\nexclusive packages and benefits offered to MyBHA\u00ae members under this
\ninitiative.<\/p>\n
