This participation marks Jakarta&#8217;s<br \/>\ndebut as an independent destination at this highly influential B2B travel trade<br \/>\nshow specifically targeting the Chinese market, serving as a key component of<br \/>\nthe city&#8217;s grand strategy to achieve Top 50 Global City status. <\/p>\n<p>ITB China 2026 has set a new record,<br \/>\nfeaturing over 900 travel organizations from 85 countries and regions, 1,700<br \/>\ncurated buyers, and over 46,000 scheduled business meetings. This year&#8217;s<br \/>\nedition completely sold out despite a 20% increase in exhibition space,<br \/>\nreflecting the exceptionally high global demand for the continuously growing<br \/>\nChinese travel market. <\/p>\n<p>China has consistently been one of<br \/>\nthe largest sources of foreign tourists for Indonesia and Jakarta. With the<br \/>\npost-pandemic tourism recovery strengthening, demand from Chinese tourists for<br \/>\nSoutheast Asian destinations has increased significantly. With 1,700 buyers in<br \/>\nattendance\u201434% of whom focus on luxury and customized travel, and 25% on MICE<br \/>\n(Meetings, Incentives, Conventions, and Exhibitions)\u2014ITB China 2026 presents a<br \/>\ngolden opportunity for Jakarta to attract high-value market segments. <\/p>\n<p>&#8220;ITB China 2026 is a strategic<br \/>\nstage to convince Chinese and Asian tourism industry players that Jakarta is no<br \/>\nlonger just a transit city.
