According to Krungsri Research, Thailand\u2019s construction investment grew<br \/>\nby 6.1% year-on-year in the first quarter of 2026, reaching approximately THB<br \/>\n365 billion, while full-year growth is projected at around 2.5\u20132.7%, driven in<br \/>\npart by major infrastructure projects. At the same time, the country\u2019s Net Zero<br \/>\ntarget for 2050 is expected to accelerate the transformation of industrial<br \/>\nsectors. According to SCB EIC, carbon-intensive construction materials,<br \/>\nparticularly steel and cement, will face increasing pressure to adopt more<br \/>\nenvironmentally responsible production processes and technologies.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><b>Mr. Panotsan<br \/>\nSuchayanon, Deputy Director-General of the Department of Primary Industries and<br \/>\nMines (DPIM),<\/b> highlighted the importance of sustainable<br \/>\nresource management and the circular economy in supporting the transformation<br \/>\nof the industrial sector. \u201cDPIM places strong emphasis on the efficient and<br \/>\nsustainable management of raw materials and mineral resources for the<br \/>\nindustrial sector.
